The Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan (PDF) Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan (HTML) (Coordinated Plan) guides applicants in developing proposals for the Federal Transit Administration’s Section 5310 program (or the Community Transit Grant Program in Massachusetts). It provides transportation providers with guidance to better meet the transportation needs of seniors (people ages 65 and older) and people with disabilities.

Updated every four years, the plan was developed with input from the public, transit providers, human service organizations, and other stakeholders. The plan identifies unmet transportation needs, strategies to address them, and priorities for implementation. The MPO board endorsed the 2023 Coordinated Plan on October 19, 2023.

Existing transportation services that operate in the Boston region can be viewed in this online map.
