The Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is excited to announce that it has launched a new transportation Performance Dashboard

Completed in July 2024, the Performance Dashboard offers users a central location to view regional transportation performance data in relation to the MPO’s adopted performance targets in the following areas: roadway safety, transit safety, transit asset condition, bridge and pavement condition, travel time reliability, and congestion management and air quality. The MPO is required to set targets based on federal Performance-Based Planning and Programming standards. In addition to following federal guidance, the MPO staff considered the feedback of board members and the Regional Transportation Advisory Council when constructing the dashboard. The MPO board uses the data to assess progress toward goals and make performance-based planning decisions. This resource will be updated as new performance data and performance targets become available. Do you have a question about the dashboard or regional transportation performance?
